This project was the renovation of a three-story adobe and frame, civil war era building, in serious structural danger of collapse. The floors were removed, helical piers installed and a red iron structure was erected inside the original building to hold it up. It was a virtual “ship in a bottle”! Operations were additionally difficult as the project is in downtown Santa Fe with absolutely no staging space.
